REMEMBER LOTS WIFE
Luke 17:32 Remember Lot’s wife!
◦The one time Jesus asked to remember (all the women interviewed in the Bible)
He says remember Lots Wife! The one who has NO name!
◦Put it behind you..don’t look back. Remember Lots wife turned. Pull turn desire..her past was pulling her to cause her to look back.
◦Jesus is now telling us to remember the one who looked back.
◦Anytime your faith makes you look backwards you’re using it for something that it wasn’t designed to do.
◦Friends, mess behind you.
◦Your FAITH has no reverse!
Philippians 3:14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
◦Forgetting about the things behind and going FORWARD!!!
◦Sin will pull on you FOR A SEASON!
◦David Livingston- Great Missionary. “I will go anywhere as long as it’s forward!”
◦You can’t change yesterday…you can’t fix it. Remember Lots Wife!
◦He works all things together for the good!
◦I can Only Go Forward- Press towards the purpose God has for you!
◦Break out of the jail cell, forget the things behind you, step into your purpose and GO FORWARD!
◦Lots wife could NOT let go.
Exodus 2:1-2 Now a man of the tribe of Levi married a Levite woman, and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months. But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile.
Exodus 2:10 When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh’s daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses, saying, “I drew him out of the water.”
◦Moses = Drawn Out
◦Drawn Out of womb, water, palace, wilderness
◦So much Strength and courage it takes to let go!
◦Moses mom One had the strength to LET GO and one Lot's wife could not LET GO!
I Sam 13:6 When the Israelites saw that their situation was critical and that their army was hard pressed, they hid in caves and thickets, among the rocks, and in pits and cisterns.
◦They hid in the thickets caves holes and rocks
◦God is calling you out of your safe place, comfort zone.
◦I know you’ve been through a lot but God’s not trying to kill you.
◦What He is trying to do is draw out what was placed down inside of you! There is purpose and destiny down inside of you.
◦CONTRACTIONS! What you experience before you birth a child.
◦Anytime God draws you out of what you’re comfortable in, you’re not going to like it.
◦That’s why you feel uncomfortable is because God is drawing something out of you! In Church!!!
◦But you have to TRUST HIM
◦Worship will be uncomfortable! Church will be uncomfortable!
◦Trust Him. He will take you from lesser to larger.
Isaiah 54:1 Sing, barren woman,
you who never bore a child;
burst into song, shout for joy,
you who were never in labor;
because more are the children of the desolate woman
than of her who has a husband, ”
says the LORD.
◦Stop fighting it.
◦Remember Lots Wife!

◦Put the basket in the water today! Worship = Let it go and Trust Him.
