It’s Prep Time! Restoration is coming to the House of the Lord!

◦ Last week recap: *”You can’t be who ‘you are going to be’ and who ‘used to be’ at the same time!”

◦ Sprinkle in the 12 Stones in each message throughout the year.

◦ Deal with the reins…sometimes we just go through the motions. We pray that God deals with the reins: “the deep parts”. We want God to deal with the deep things in our lives.

◦ Fine Tune and Prepare!

◦ God never forces himself on us. We pray God has His way in our lives. Lift your hands to show God you mean business.

✓ God is preparing you for what He has prepared for you. Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) says:“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

✓ Mark 10:28-30 (NIV) says: 28 Then Peter spoke up, “We have left everything to follow you!”

29 “Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel 30 will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—

and in the age to come eternal life.

◦ He promises abundant blessings—not just in heaven but also in this life—though with challenges (“along with persecutions”).

◦ Peter spoke up saying we’ve given up everything to follow you! Jesus said Yes. Nothing you have lost that I’m going to restore!

✓ Joel 2:25 (NIV) says: “I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten—the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm—my great army that I sent among you.”

◦ This verse is part of God’s promise of restoration to the Israelites after a time of devastation. The locusts symbolize destruction, loss, and hardship, but God assures His people that He will restore what has been taken.

◦ He is a God of restoration and He doesn’t turn a blind eye for people that have walked away from you because you spoke the Good News….He’ll do it 100 fold

◦ BUT it will come with difficulty..”because” I have to prepare you for what I have prepared for you.

◦ He needs to make sure YOU ARE READY FOR IT!

◦ You are in PREP TIME!!! Hold On!

◦ Let people know that you are not ignoring, acting funny, disregarding relationships, not arrogant, not distracted…WE ARE IN PREP TIME. *”You can’t be who ‘you are going to be’ and who ‘used to be’ at the same time!”

◦ In your last season you could play around, mess around but God has you in PREP TIME you are in a new season!

◦ Even when things seem hopeless, He is working to restore and bless.

✓ Acts 1:4-5 (NIV)“On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: ‘Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.

✓ Acts 2:16-18 (NIV)“No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: ‘In the last days, God says,I will pour out my Spirit on all people.Your sons and daughters will prophesy,your young men will see visions,your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women,I will pour out my Spirit in those days,and they will prophesy.’” (Joel 2:28-29)

◦ We are seeing the scriptures come alive…TODAY!

✓ Acts 3:19-20 (NIV) 19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,20 and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus.

◦ In the last days He will pour out His spirit on all flesh! God to restore

everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.”

◦ Until the season and RESTORATION of all things.

◦ We are getting ready to MARCH I to a season of RESTORATION!

◦ “RESTORATION: Bring back to a former condition.”

✓ Joshua 24:15 (NIV):“But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

◦ “But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Restoration is coming to your house!

◦ It’s Prep time! He’s preparing you for what He has prepared for you!

✓ Mark 10:30 (NIV):“Will fail to receive a HUNDRED TIMES as much in this present age: HOMES, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.”

✓ Restoration is coming to our house! The House of The Lord!
