Open The Window!
◦God is about territory and the enemy will fight you over that territory.
✓I Chronicles 4:10 Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.
◦Greater influence and opportunities and greater impact!
◦Not to be known, but to make Him known. God blesses us to be a blessing.
✓Mark 5:10 And he begged Jesus again and again not to send them out of the region.
◦This plea highlights the demons’ desire to maintain their influence within a familiar territory. It suggests that evil spirits can have strongholds in certain areas and resist being displaced. However, Jesus demonstrates His authority by casting them out, indicating that no power or place is beyond His control.
✓The enemy will put a mountain to block your view and anything beyond it.
◦When you have that mountain in front of you cant see your future nor can you see what God can do in your life. Low self esteem, shame, regret…etc.
◦When you have that mountain you can’t see tomorrow.
◦He wants to enlarge your territory and open doors.
◦The scripture says works today and He wants to work on your family!
✓Matthew 17:20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
◦The Holy Spirit lives down on the inside!
◦Mustard seed is the smallest of seeds…as long as Jesus lives down on the inside, nothing is impossible.
◦A mountain has no growth potential and is just there! BUT the mustard seed will grow and grow more you are in church, connect groups, Bible Study!
◦As the see grows, you begin to realize no weapon formed against you will prosper!
✓Acts 5:38-39 Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”
◦YOU CANNOT STOP PEOPLE LIKE THAT…With Christ (Faith of the Mustard Seed) down inside of you then YOU’RE UNSTOPPABLE!
◦“Don’t tell God how big your problems are; tell your problems how big your God is.”
◦Don’t allow that thing to take your voice!
◦Daniel’s territory gets enlarged!
◦In Daniel 6, after Daniel survives the lions’ den, King Darius acknowledges the power of Daniel’s God and promotes him to a higher position. As a result, Daniel’s influence and authority expand within the Persian Empire.
✓Daniel 6:26-28 (NIV): Darius issues a decree honoring Daniel’s God throughout the kingdom.
◦Daniel prospers during the reigns of both Darius and Cyrus, showing his enduring leadership and enlarged territory of influence.
✓In Daniel 6:6-9, royal administrators persuade King Darius to issue a decree that anyone who prays to any god or human besides the king for 30 days will be thrown into the lions’ den. The decree was intended to elevate Darius’ authority but ultimately targeted Daniel’s devotion to God, leading to his trial in the lions’ den.
◦Here comes Daniel’s Mountain…but Daniel has a heart for God! SO…No, Daniel doesn’t hold back! Daniel Prays with windows opened to make sure everyone hears him! He wanted that mountain to hear him pray to know what God he prays to giving THANKS to God!
✓Daniel 6:10: Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.
◦He not worried about others getting offended, about being private, about keeping his faith to himself!
◦That is not the God we serve. Go to all the world and preach the gospel.
◦Mountain movers open the window! To righteousness, to be unashamed to tell that mountain that your God is still alive!
✓Don’t Hide it, Declare it!
