◦Spirit on a assignment- Jesus is dealing with professional fishermen. They could tell by the signs to predict weather/ the storms. This was their livelihood.

◦The enemy knew where they were heading. Trying to keep you from the next chapter of your life.

Ephesians 4:27 and do not give the devil a foothold.

◦Topos=Place=Topographical Map

◦Don’t give Topos to the enemy..ground…place to the enemy.

✓The enemy is after every region of our life: Money, health, marriage, kids, house, family, employment, mindset!

◦The enemy will come in like a FLOOD!

◦He wants to consume after every aspect of your life!

◦STAY PLANTED IN THE HOUSE OF GOD!

◦When you’re planted you have a covering when it rains.

◦AND IT WILL RAIN IN YOUR LIFE…This is what you need:

◦Church is a shelter.

◦Friends that will pick you up!

◦Remind that the word of God lives down in you!

◦For me and my house we will serve the Lord!

◦Prayer partners

◦Bible study’s and small groups

◦When you don’t…this is what life is like:

◦When you have nobody in your life to connect with when the storms come.

Matthew 16:18 Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

◦The church is on the offense not defense…promote the kingdom! ATTACKING the gates of satan. Satan CANNOT keep the church out.

✓It’s not the church trying to keep Satan out … it’s Satan trying to keep the church out!

✓The enemy has to be shaking not the other way around!

◦The church has turned into a patrol boat…guards patrolling. Or a cruise boat. WE ARE A RESCUE BOAT…on a RESCUE MISSION. We go towards the wreckage!

Matthew 15:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

◦Hey you over there….youre not a mistake!!!

◦We have hope plan and purpose!

Nehemiah 4:17

Judah who were building the wall. Those who carried materials did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other,

◦Worked Building with one hand and battling with the other hand!

◦Building and Battling

◦Not a patrol boat or cruise ship; we are a Rescue Boat!

◦Going after those in darkness.

◦Paddle in hand! helping and serving. Paddle of ministry!

◦Stay away from the church of the FROZEN CHOSEN!

◦You can’t just have the umbrella and not the paddle! You can’t just be hearers of the word and NOT doers of the word!

James 1:22

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror
