Next Steps January 7, 2024

Joshua 1:3 3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.

 ✓ Often we don’t get to live in the big picture of our life cause we don’t take our next steps.

2 Corinthians 3:18 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.

 ◦ From Glory to Glory: Increasing the levels of Glory. So the Bible is saying there are levels of Glories!

 ◦ In our lives, there are levels.

 ✓ There are no next levels without steps.

 ◦ This is why we at Impact encourage to sing out / loud, lift hands…it takes you to the next levels.

 ◦ Something happens when you take the next steps! To get the next level with what God has for you you need to take the next steps.  

 ✓ …AND THAT NEXT STEP IS GOING TO BE UNCOMFORTABLE!

 ◦ Peter on the boat. Lord if it is use bid me to come! Peter stepped out of the boat. It wasn’t until he focused on the storm when he sank. TAKE THAT NEXT STEP

 ✓ Everyone wants next levels but few want next steps!

 ◦ What’s the next step? “The next right thing to move forward to move up.”

Isaiah 58:6 6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

 ◦ When you fast things begin to happen!

 ✓ Your’re in the boat…you want to take next step…COME TO FASTING NIGHT!

 ◦ Your next step is to “Seek first the kingdom of God!”

 ◦ Next step…get in Gods word, Bible Study- something happens in the Bible study, lifting hands, Growth Tract.

 ✓ Expect opposition when you take the next step!

Mark 4:35-41 

35 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.

36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.

37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

 ◦ Puts your eyes in the obstacle I stead of the next level!

 ◦ Opposition tries to keep you from the next chapter. Jesus said peace be still…OR SHUTUP!

Mark 5:10 

10 And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.

 ◦ When demonic forces confronted (don’t send us out of the area). They didn’t want to leave the territory. The enemy is interested in your territory, your house, your family, your kids, your turf.

 ◦ It’s about your SHALL BE. The people you’ll touch, minister to, praying for, the territory.  

 ◦ TAKE NEW GROUND.

I Chroninicles 4:10

10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast (my territory), and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

 ◦ He is after your territory. Jabez prayer is to bless me and enlarge my territory. God increase my territory

 ◦ Territory in Hebrew border boundary 

 ◦ Jabez is ready to go to that next step.  

 ◦ Acquire something that is owned or under jurisdiction rule of someone else! Give me what the enemy has ruled!  

 ✓ I’m going to bless you with what the enemy thought he ruled over…thought he had!

 ◦ Make it the Right Steps!

Josué 1:3 3 Todo lugar que pise la planta de vuestro pie, os lo he dado, como le prometí a Moisés.

✓ A menudo no alcanzamos a vivir la visión completa de nuestra vida porque no damos los siguientes pasos.

2 Corintios 3:18 18 Pero todos nosotros, que con el rostro descubierto contemplamos como en un espejo la gloria del Señor, somos transformados de gloria en gloria en su misma imagen, como por el Señor que es el Espíritu.

◦ De Gloria en Gloria: Aumentando los niveles de Gloria. ¡Así que la Biblia dice que hay niveles de Gloria!

◦ En nuestras vidas, hay niveles.

✓ No hay siguientes niveles sin pasos.

◦ Por eso en Impacto animamos a cantar en voz alta, a levantar las manos... te lleva a los siguientes niveles.

◦ ¡Algo sucede cuando das los siguientes pasos! Para alcanzar el siguiente nivel con lo que Dios tiene para ti, necesitas dar los siguientes pasos.

✓ ...¡Y ESE PRÓXIMO PASO SERÁ INCÓMODO!

◦ Pedro en el bote. ¡Señor, si eres tú, mándame ir hacia ti sobre las aguas! Pedro salió del bote. No fue hasta que se enfocó en la tormenta cuando se hundió. DA ESE PRÓXIMO PASO.

✓ Todos quieren alcanzar siguientes niveles pero pocos quieren dar siguientes pasos.

◦ ¿Cuál es el siguiente paso? "El siguiente paso correcto para avanzar y subir".

Isaías 58:6 6 ¿No es más bien el ayuno que yo escogí, desatar las ligaduras de impiedad, soltar las cargas de opresión, y dejar ir libres a los quebrantados, y que rompáis todo yugo?

◦ ¡Cuando ayunas, las cosas comienzan a suceder!

✓ Estás en el bote... quieres dar el siguiente paso... ¡VEN A LA NOCHE DE AYUNO!

◦ Tu próximo paso es "¡Buscar primero el reino de Dios!"

◦ Siguiente paso... sumérgete en la palabra de Dios, estudio bíblico: algo sucede en el estudio bíblico, levantar las manos, Folleto de Crecimiento.

✓ ¡Espera oposición cuando des el siguiente paso!

Marcos 4:35-41

35 Aquel día, al llegar la tarde, Jesús dijo a sus discípulos: "Crucemos al otro lado del lago".

36 Así que, dejando a la multitud, lo llevaron a bordo de la barca, tal como estaba; y también otras barcas lo acompañaban.

37 De repente, se desató sobre el lago una violenta tempestad, de modo que las olas inundaban la barca, y Jesús se hallaba dormido en la popa, sobre un cabezal.

38 Los discípulos lo despertaron y le dijeron: "Maestro, ¿no te importa que nos ahoguemos?"

39 Él se levantó, reprendió al viento y dijo al mar: "¡Silencio! ¡Cálmate!" Y el viento se calmó, y sobrevino una gran calma.

40 Entonces les preguntó: "¿Por qué tienen tanto miedo? ¿Todavía no tienen fe?"

41 Todos estaban atemorizados y se preguntaban unos a otros: "¿Quién es éste, que hasta el viento y el mar le obedecen?"

◦ Pone tus ojos en el obstáculo en lugar del siguiente nivel.

◦ La oposición intenta mantenerte alejado del siguiente capítulo. Jesús dijo: ¡silencio, cálmate!

Marcos 5:10

10 Por favor, no nos expulses de esta región", le rogaban.

◦ Cuando las fuerzas demoníacas confrontaron (no nos eches de la región). No querían dejar el territorio. El enemigo está interesado en tu territorio, tu casa, tu familia, tus hijos, tu terreno.

◦ Se trata de lo que SERÁ. Las personas a las que tocarás, ministrarás, por las que orarás, el territorio.

◦ TOMA NUEVO TERRITORIO.

I Crónicas 4:10

10 Jabez invocó al Dios de Israel, diciendo: "¡Oh, si me bendijeras en gran manera, y ensancharas mi territorio, y si tu mano estuviera conmigo, y me libraras de mal, para que no me causara dolor!" Y Dios le concedió lo que pidió.

◦ El está tras tu territorio. La oración de Jabes es bendíceme y ensancha mi territorio. Dios, aumenta mi territorio

◦ Territorio en hebreo frontera límite

◦ Jabes está listo para dar ese siguiente paso.

◦ ¡Adquirir algo que está bajo la jurisdicción de alguien más! ¡Dame lo que el enemigo ha gobernado!

✓ Voy a bendecirte con lo que el enemigo pensó que gobernaba... ¡pensó que tenía!

◦ ¡Haz los Pasos Correctos!"
