A Purposed Filled Life!

Luke 15:8

The Parable of the Lost Coin

“Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?

 ◦ Heart Dropping Moment- Urgency!

 ◦ She had an urgency as she swept for this missing coin.

 ◦ Living intentionally pursuing the life God called you to live!

 ◦ You’re not an accident- there is purpose in you. Fearfully and wonderfully made.

 ◦ In Jeremiah- plans I have are to prosper you and give you a hope!

 ◦ You are not who they say you are!

 ◦ You’re the head not the tail.

 ◦ When you live this purpose filled life you need to be aware of distractions!

 ◦ Searching carefully…not distracted.

 ◦ She’s not cooking and sweeping

 ◦ She’s not looking out the window and sweeping

 ◦ She put a high priority on getting back to the TEN!

 ◦ Return to get back to our first LOVE!

 ◦ Getting back to what He called you to do!

 ◦ Purpose filled life is avoiding distractions and getting back to High Priority of what He called you to do!

 ◦ The church has to get back to High Priority!

 ◦ WHAT AM I CALLED TO DO????Luke 10:27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

 ◦ Love Him and Love On People!

 ◦ Shut out the EARS to all the outside noise to what they are saying to and about you!

 ◦ Peter Kicks Out The Outside Distraction… Act 9:36-42 In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (in Greek her name is Dorcas); she was always doing good and helping the poor. About that time she became sick and died, and her body was washed and placed in an upstairs room. Lydda was near Joppa; so when the disciples heard that Peter was in Lydda, they sent two men to him and urged him, “Please come at once!” Peter went with them, and when he arrived he was taken upstairs to the room. All the widows stood around him, crying and showing him the robes and other clothing that Dorcas had made while she was still with them. Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said, “Tabitha, get up.” She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up. He took her by the hand and helped her to her feet. Then he called for the believers, especially the widows, and presented her to them alive. This became known all over Joppa, and many people believed in the Lord.

 ◦ TODAY is your day to STAND UP in your calling and assignment!

 ◦ You can STAND UP if you let people drop their problems on you and you MAKE that your assignment.

 ◦ THATS NOT YOUR ASSIGNMENT! Your assignment: Love Him and Love On People!

 ◦ It’s not your battle problem or assignment to solve.

 ◦ 2 Chronicles 20:15 He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.

 ◦ Intention requires deliberate action.

 ◦ Her response is to grab the broom! SPECIFIC ACTION!

 ◦ There is something with the action…lifting hands, clapping your hands, standing to your feet, praying, singing out loud!

 ◦ TAKE BACK what the enemy stole from you!

 ◦ The coin was not lost in the wilderness, desert, or far off country…the coin was lost in the house.

 ◦ What do you do when you’re dealing with someone who is lost in the house???

 ◦ Nehemiah 4:14 After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”

 ◦ FIGHT!!! Fight to get the coin back! She didn’t say well I have 9 other coins..oh well.

 ◦ Acts 14:22 strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. “We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said.

 ◦ Grabbing the broom is signifying she was not quitting…I’m here and I’m not quitting!

 ◦ Moses kept his hands up! Lifting of hands is signifying you’re not quitting! Pray for family marriage kids … God has a purpose for you!
